A basic Introduction to Higgs Bundles and Vafa-Witten Bundles, Part Two

This will be a continuation of my previous talk. In this talk we will introduce a way one can generalize Higgs bundles over a Kähler surface. These are called Vafa-Witten bundles. We will discuss how one can view these as a dimensional reduction of a Yang-Mills type equation similar to that of ordinary Higgs bundles. We will give examples and then discuss how one can go on and study further properties of Vafa-Witten bundles.
