“Chern classes: Part 2”
We will continue to work with Chern classes, proving equation 14.7 in Milnor and Stasheff, which states that the Chern class of the sum of two vector bundles is the product of the Chern class of the bundles. If time permits, we will also discuss conjugate bundles and their Chern classes.
