"Direct Images of D-modules: both naive and derived"
In this talk, I will first define the naive direct image of a D-module, and then provide examples for closed immersion and smooth surjections. After that, I will explain the philosophy of derived categories/functors as an analogy from sheaf cohomology theory a la Hartshorne, and use that machinery to provide the derived pullbacks/pushforwards, which are the "correct" definitions. If time remains, I will explain how examples fit under this new framework.
