“Analytic Techniques for the Yamabe Problem : Part 3”
We will conclude our discussion of Sobolev Spaces. We will talk about a theorem due to Aubin about the Sobolev constant for any compact Riemannian manifold. Then we will explain local and global elliptic regularity and maximum principles. We will try to give proofs of as many results as possible. If time remains, Spiro will begin to talk about Section 3 of the Lee-Parker paper, on the model case of the sphere.
