"On the cohomology ring of closed orientable Lagrangian
submanifolds with vanishing Floer homology"

I will give new restrictions on the topology of certain Lagrangian 3-manifolds whose Lagrangian Floer homology vanishes and give
applications to open Gromov-Witten invariants. I will provide the
necessary background from symplectic geometry.
