“Moduli Space of Yang-Mills Instantons”
Instantons in Yang-Mills theory are special connections on certain bundles over pseudo- Riemannian 4-manifolds. Physicists care about them because they describe non-perturbative effects in quantum field theory; mathematicians because they provide interesting geometric invariants. We will survey some results on instantons in Euclidean signature, culminating in an explicit description of their moduli space

“Generalized Holomorphic Vector Bundles over Inoue Surfaces”
Generalized holomorphic bundles over generalized K ̈ahler manifolds admit descriptions in terms of a pair of holomorphic structures. There are few examples of generalized holomorphic bundles and so explicit examples are needed. In this talk we will discuss the construction of generalized holomorphic bundles over Inoue surfaces which come from a generalized K ̈ahler structure.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
