"Donuts and Pants, then Quasiconformal Maps"

As a healthy start to our morning, we will sip our coffee and examine the Teichmüller space and moduli space of donu---I mean complex tori. With that jump start, we grab our pairs of pants and begin adorning our bare Riemann surfaces; pictures and promises rather than proofs may dominate here. At last, with morning rituals completed, we finish by introducing quasiconformal maps, one primary technical object in our study of the complex analytic geometry of Teichmüller space.
