"Non-minimizing solutions to the Ginzburg-Landau equations (Part 2)"
I'll continue talking about the paper https://arxiv.org/abs/2103.05613v2 by Akos Nagy and Goncalo Oliveira where they construct new examples of non-minimizing critical points of the Ginzburg-Landau functional on Hermitian line bundles over closed Riemannian manifolds under suitable assumptions. I'll start with a summary of my previous talk, before moving on to describe the remainder of their construction of solutions via the Lyapunov-Schmidt reduction.
