“Purely infinite graph C*-algebras, continued”
Last time we proved that if a row-finite graph E is acyclic then C∗(E) is an AF algebra, and we proved the converse when C(E) is simple (although it is true more generally). We are interested in the simple case because: if C∗(E) is simple and E is not acyclic, then C∗(E) is purely infinite. We’ll prove this.
