“Semisimple algebras and acyclic graphs”
Last time we constructed the universal graph C∗ −algebraO(E) for a row-finite, countable directed graph E, which turned out to be generated by a Cuntz–Krieger E-family. Our next goal is to discuss when O(E) is semisimple, in the case E is finite; for C*-algebras, this means O(E) is finite-dimensional. The structure of O(E) in this situation is uniquely determined by the sources in E. See you there.
