Organizational Meeting

This will be an informal learning seminar with the goal of studying (real and complex) Hadamard matrices and some of their applications in noncommutative analysis and quantum information.  We are particularly interested in understanding recent work on quantum symmetries of Hadamard matrices, non-local games and quantum isomorphisms of Hadamard graphs, and connections to subfactor theory.  We will meet weekly on Wednesdays in MC 5403 from 1:30pm-3:00pm and on Thursdays from 1:00 – 2:30 pm, with the first actual seminar starting on Thursday May 11.  We will have a brief discussion in this organizational meeting to determine topics to be covered and line up speakers.
