"An Invitation to Model-Theoretic Galois Theory (Part I)"

In Alice Medvedev and Ramin Takloo-Bighash's paper ''An Invitation to Model-Theoretic Galois Theory", the Galois correspondence is revisited in the context of an arbitrary first-order theory $T$. The ambient field will instead be a $\kappa$-saturated model of $T$, which we call $\mathcal{M}$, and the subfields will be the definably-closed subsets of $\mathcal{M}$. We will discuss the definitions and results analogous to the usual field-theoretic ones in this model-theoretic setting.
