“The greatest prime divisor of EDS”

(Let P(k) be the greatest prime divisor function. In 1965 Erdos conjectured that limit ofP(2n 1)/nis infinity. Murty and Wong proved that ABC conjecture implies Erdos conjecture in 2002, and recently, Stewart proved this conjecture unconditionally. In this talk we try to extend this conjecture to elliptic divisibility sequence. In particular we show that the ABC conjecture implies that for certain elliptic divisibility sequences dn, the limit of P(dn)/n2 goes to infinity.
