"Boundaries and C*-simplicity of discrete groups and (slightly) more"

We will finish the proof that a discrete group is C*-simple if and only if it acts freely on its Furstenberg boundary. Afterwards, we will discuss some connections to the unique trace property. We will finish by looking at some examples of C*-simple groups.
