"Unitary
correlation
sets"
Last
week
we
looked
at
the
Brown
algebra
and
the
Brown
operator
system
and
how
they
relate
to
Connes'
embedding
problem.
In
this
talk,
we'll
look
at
"unitary
correlations"
associated
to
states
on
tensor
products
of
the
Brown
algebra.
We'll
look
at
the
properties
of
these
correlation
sets,
and
obtain
a
Tsirelson-like
problem
that
is
also
equivalent
to
Connes'
embedding
problem
(and
hence
Tsirelson's
problem
itself).
We'll
also
see
where
embezzlement
of
entanglement
plays
a
part
in
separating
certain
unitary
correlation
sets.
