“Nash groups”

The category of Nash manifolds lies strictly in between that of smooth real algebraic varieties and that of real analytic manifolds. Nash groups are group objects in the category of Nash manifolds, and we raise the problem of an explicit description of Nash groups in terms of real algebraic groups and some basic constructions.

Refreshments will be served in MC 5046 at 3:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
