“Prime and semiprime rings”

We can tie in our discussion of semisimplicity and chain conditions with some new proper- ties: primeness and semiprimeness. Last time, Kim proved that R is semisimple if and only if it is J-semisimple and artinian; this time we’ll show that we can replace “J-semisimple” with “semiprime”. There will be lots of examples.
