“The maximal ring of right fractions, continued”

Last time we gave the construction of Qmax(RR) and showed that, if R is a commutative domain, then this construction recovers the usual field of fractions. Even more generally, if R is a semiprime Goldie ring then we get the classical Ore ring of right fractions. This time we’ll see that, as a right R-module, Qmax(RR) is isomorphic to the rational hull of RR.
