"All genus mirror symmetry for toric Calabi-Yau 3-orbifolds"

Mirror symmetry, as a duality from string physics, predicts A-model theories (Gromov-Witten invariants, Fukaya categories) on a Calabi-Yau manifold from the B-model theories (variations of Hodge structures, etc.) on its mirror manifold. In case of a toric Calabi-Yau threefold, a recursively constructed B-model theory on its mirror, called the "remodeled B-model", is conjectured to be equivalent to all genus Gromov-Witten theory on the toric CY 3-fold. I will discuss an approach to prove this conjecture including the cases of orbifolds. This talk is based on the joints works with Chiu-Chu Melissa Liu and Zhengyu Zong.

Refreshments will be served in MC 5046 at 3:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
