“Peano space-filling curve”

In 1890, shortly after the founding of the field of general topology, Giuseppe Peano wondered if it was possible to construct a continuous map from the unit interval into 2-dimensional Euclidean space which completely fills up the unit square. His efforts met with success, and in this talk I will demonstrate a geometrical variation of the construction of the famous curve, as well as some immediate consequences.
