“Large gaps between primes”

In this talk, we go over recent progress made independently by James Maynard and Ford-Green- Konyagin-Tao on large gaps between primes. Their work resolves a famous Erdos problem, valued at 10, 000 US, on improving the Rankin bound for large gaps between primes. This is the most valuable Erdos problem solved to date.
