Congratulations to Jason Bell for his appointment as a University Research Chair. Established in 2003, the University Research Chair program "recognizes exceptional achievement and pre-eminence in a particular field of knowledge." Please see the Provost's website for more information on the program as well as current and past holders of University Research Chairs.
Jason joined the Department of Pure Mathematics in January, 2013. His research spans the areas of algebra, geometry and number theory.
