Tuesday, May 29, 2012

Matthew Harrison-Trainor (BMath 2012) has been awarded a 2012 Julie Payette-NSERC Research Scholarship. These awards are Canada's most prestigious NSERC scholarships offered at the Master's level; only 24 are awarded each year across Canada in the natural sciences and engineering.

Matthew will receive his BMath, Honours Pure Mathematics, in June. In September he heads to the University of California, Berkeley for graduate work in logic.

Congratulations, Matthew!
