The Department of Pure Mathematics is very pleased to announce that Matthew Satriano will be joining Pure Mathematics in July 2015. Matt received his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2010, and has since held post-doctoral positions at the University of Michigan and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Matt's research interests include algebraic geometry, invariant theory, Hodge theory, toric geometry and log geometry. See you next July, Matt!
