Dr. Anita Layton receives John L. Synge Award for outstanding research

Dr. Anita Layton, a professor of applied mathematics and Canada 150 Research Chair of Mathematical Biology and Medicine at the University of Waterloo, has received a prestigious award for her outstanding research in mathematical science. 

The Royal Society of Canada (RSC) announced Dr. Layton as the winner of the prestigious John L. Synge Award today in a press release on their website.
