UWRA 2020 Fall Zoom Presentation
The usual UWRA Fall Reception is not possible in person; but we hope you will join us online for a Zoom presentation by Dr. Stuart McGill on November 18 at 2 pm. Dr. McGill is an international expert on causal mechanisms and rehabilitation of back pain and will speak on: Back pain as we ripen into older adults.
The Zoom presentation is limited to 100 attendees, therefore an invitation to register for this free event will be sent all UWRA members to give them access to the event prior to opening the event to the University community at large.
Dr. Stuart McGill
Dr. Stuart McGill is a professor emeritus, University of Waterloo, and an international expert on the causal mechanisms of back pain, how to rehabilitate people with back pain and how to enhance injury resilience and performance. His advice is sought by governments, corporations, legal experts, medical groups and elite athletes and teams around the world. He has educated thousands of clinicians and practitioners who employ the McGill method to return back-pained people to more active and pain-free lifestyles. Dr. McGill recently was appointed as a Member of the Order of Canada in recognition of his scientific and clinical insights to back pain.
