The University of Waterloo Retirees Association recommends a variety of courses and activities for more learning opportunities.
University of Waterloo Senior Tuition Benefit
UWaterloo pensioners/retirees and seniors aged 65+ are eligible for the Seniors Tuition Discount, which covers the tuition cost associated with their course(s) or program (typically, 4 per term). However, they are required to pay any other incidental fees that may be applicable.
For those retirees under 65, enrol as normal, and connect with Student Finance Services should you have any questions about course loads.
Language courses at Renison
These courses put community members in the classroom, locally and around the globe. Renison University College offers Community and Professional Education (CAPE) courses, which are essentially non-credit learning opportunities for the community.
The Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI)
An independent, non-partisan think tank focused on international governance has feature events for the general public.
