Harnessing Robotics and AI for Climate Solutions

Tuesday, November 25, 2025 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm EST (GMT -05:00)

RoboHub and ESG Partners Inc. are excited to announce their participation in the inaugural Canada Climate Week Xchange (CCWX).

Canada Climate Week Xchange (CCWX) is a five-year initiative bringing Canadians from coast to coast together, one week a year, to collaborate on solutions and opportunities to address our country’s climate-related challenges. Organizations and individuals are encouraged to apply to have their event included in the inaugural 2025 week, which will run from November 24 to November 30, 2025. To learn more about CCWX and how to participate, visit www.ccwx.ca.

As part of this national initiative, RoboHub and ESG Partners will be hosting a panel on Harnessing Robotics & AI For Climate Solutions, which aims to explore how robotics and AI can be applied to climate solutions and how a climate lens can be applied to existing robotics work in areas like healthcare to address climate threats. This event is taking place during CCWX 2025, which runs from November 24 to November 30th.

Speakers

This panel will be moderated and hosted by Holly Crawford, a consultant on Climate and Sustainability from ESG Partners, a company which empowers mid-market organizations to navigate the complexities of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices with confidence — and to leverage them for more resilient operations, stronger stakeholder trust, and long-term, sustainable performance.

The panellists are all experts in the field of robotics from within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo, with a diverse set of real-world experience and application knowledge. All three of the panellists are also members of RoboHub's Research Team, as well as being members of the Canadian Robotics Council, the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, and several other national and international scale associations focused on robotics and related technologies.
