RoboHub Technician and Safety Officer
In this role, he ensures that applicable CSA/ESA Standards are being met, maintains SOPs and inventory lists for our equipment, keeps our safety documentation up to date, provides in-house safety training as needed and maintains our Transport Canada Drone certifications.
As an experienced machinist and technician on campus, Robert also looks after installations, construction, maintenance of our equipment, the design and production of non-OEM parts for our fleet of robots, and generally being the go-to person when coordinating operations with other campus units, contractors and suppliers.
