Andrea Edginton, Professor and Hallman Director, School of Pharmacy
Andrea Edginton, PhD, is a proven leader in health, education, and innovation. As Hallman Director of the University of Waterloo’s School of Pharmacy, she has guided strategic growth, fostered innovative teaching and assessment, and built strong partnerships across health, science, and technology. An internationally recognized expert in pharmacometrics, her research uses advanced modeling to improve drug development and patient care. She is co-founder and COO of MAPflow, a Canadian clinical decision support platform that empowers pharmacists to practice to their full scope. In 2024, she was named one of WXN’s Top 100 Women in Canada in the Executive Leader category.

I would be honoured to represent the Faculty of Science on Senate. As an engaged researcher and educator, I am committed to strengthening our collective voice in academic governance. I value open, inclusive decision-making and believe my experience in research, teaching, and mentoring equips me to advocate effectively for Science faculty and students. Serving on Senate will allow me to contribute to shaping policies that uphold academic excellence, equity, and innovation at the University of Waterloo.
