The general role of the Faculty Relations Committee is to provide a regular forum for discussion of matters of mutual interest to the Faculty Association and the University Administration, namely issues which affect faculty members.
The Faculty Relations Committee also reviews new or amendments to policies which concern terms and conditions of employment of faculty members. Approval authority for Class “F” faculty policies is joint between the Senate and the Faculty Relations Committee, as approval by both bodies is required.
The Faculty Relations Committee has joint responsibility with the Staff Relations Committee for Class “FS” policies.

This Committee meets on a bi-weekly basis and minutes of these meetings are confidential to the Committee.
