The Building & Properties Committee oversees campus planning and development activity in the context of the Campus Master Plan and prudent environmental and sustainability practices, and makes recommendations to the Board of Governors on the acquisition, use or disposal of land or buildings.
The Committee reviews, approves and makes recommendations to the Board of Governors regarding construction projects, the appointment of architects and design consultants and ensures appropriate maintenance programs are in place for physical infrastructure.
The Committee has oversight over the status of capital construction projects and ensures compliance with building codes, fire codes, safety regulations and statutory and regulatory provisions.
