The Secretariat is responsible for the administration of several quasi-judicial processes pursuant to university-wide policies. The Secretariat is often involved in scheduling hearings, composing panels to adjudicate hearings, assisting panel members on procedural matters, providing secretarial support to proceedings, and publishing decisions made by panel members following hearings. The Secretariat acts as an information resource for students, staff and faculty members regarding the University’s quasi-judicial processes and related policies and procedures.
The Secretariat is neutral and will not determine the rights of any party to a proceeding, advocate on behalf of any party, or advise any party on the merits of its position or provide legal advice.
