Hours of Operation

Campus Wellness is closed on statutory holidays. Health Services and Counselling Services will be closed for Winter Break from Dec 24 to Jan 4 and returning Jan 5. Phones will not be answered during this time period. For a full listing of campus closures, check out the calendar of important dates.

The University of Waterloo will close because of severe weather when normal operations would pose a significant danger to students and employees, or would prevent large numbers of them from coming to campus or returning safely to their homes. When this happens, the Campus Status page is updated and information is shared to the community via Regroup Mobile, the emergency notification system. All appointments will be moved to virtual where possible, or rescheduled to the earliest possible date.

Primary Care Appointments - Health Services Building

Service	Dates and times
Scheduled appointments	Monday, Thursday and Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday 8:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Phones will not be answered between 12:00 and 1 p.m. each day.
Lab	Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (last blood collection will be at 3:30 p.m.) Please note that the lab is closed for lunch every day from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Dispensary	Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Allergies and Immunizations and TB skin tests	Monday to Friday 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Counselling Services - Needles Hall North, 2nd Floor

Scheduled Appointments	Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Evening appointments available: Monday to Thursday until 7:30 p.m. in the fall and winter terms and from Tuesday to Wednesday until 7:30 p.m. in spring term.
Office Hours	Monday to Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Upcoming closures: March 5, 2026 and May 7, 2026 from 1-2:00 p.m. for staff meetings. Phones will not be answered between 12 and 1:00 p.m.
