Introduction to GenAI for Students
The Introduction to GenAI for Students LEARN module provides students with a foundational introduction to generative artificial intelligence and provides guidance for responsible use of GenAI tools. The module outlines where to find on-campus support for navigating GenAI tools, flags areas of GenAI to be aware of and shares concrete examples of how GenAI can be used responsibly in ways that enhance rather than replace students' growing expertise. It is available as a free self-registration course on LEARN. Follow these steps to view and complete the module:
- Register on LEARN.
- Click Self Registration.
- Click "GenAI_Literacy | Introduction to GenAI for students"
- Click "Register" and confirm your information
- Click "Submit" then "Finish" then "Done"
The course will now be available on your LEARN home page.
