Collective Conversations: Peers Supporting Peers [Graduate Students]
Come join us to begin the new term with a collaborative event from the Graduate Student Association (GSA) and the Connection Collective! Collective Conversations: Peers Supporting Peers will feature a panel of current equity-deserving graduate students, as they share the successes and struggles they've faced navigating studies, work and life at UWaterloo. We invite panelists and attendees to bring their lived experiences, curiosity and compassion to the space. This event will also feature resources and fun swag from the Be You initiative, which celebrates students by using an intersectional approach to mental health and well-being. We hope to see you there!
The Graduate Student Association is your on and off campus support for all things academic, social, student advocacy, governance and wellness for graduate students.
The Connection Collective is a group mentorship program for equity-deserving students. Rooted in intersectionality, Connection Collective creates spaces for building friendships across race, gender, sexuality, disability, body size, neurodivergence and socio-economic background. This inclusive, equity-centered community is open to both undergraduate and graduate students.
