Student Disability Community Network: Self-Advocacy and Barriers Workshop
As part of the Disability Affinity Program, the Student Disability Community Network is a university-wide initiative with the goal of creating space for students with disabilities to seek peer support, knowledge exchange, and community. The Disability Community Network is open to all undergraduate and graduate students with current lived experience of disability or neurodivergence (formal diagnosis is not required). These informal meetings occur monthly, alternating between in-person and virtual meetings.
In this meeting of the Student Disability Community Network, we will work through campus resources on self-advocacy and discuss how these resources apply to disability-specific contexts.
