Overview

The Sustainability Office is thrilled to host our eleventh-annual Eco Summit to showcase sustainability achievements, celebrate progress, and build connections with our campus community. All students, staff, and faculty are invited to attend.

This year, our summit will focus on how the Waterloo community can find opportunity for sustainability action whilst navigating complexities and challenges both on and off campus.

This year’s event will feature:

  • Opening remarks from Vivek Goel, President and Vice-Chancellor
  • Launch of 2024 Environmental Sustainability Report
  • Panel discussions with student and employee sustainability leaders
  • Green Office, Green Labs, Green Residence, and Living Planet Leader awards
  • Interactive activity and networking opportunities

The event will take place on Monday, November 25 from 1-4 pm in Fed Hall. Light refreshments will be provided. Doors will open at 12:30 pm for check-in and networking.
