PANEL DISCUSSION (11:30-12:45)
What is fair trade? Why is it important? Join a panel of experts to learn more about what fair trade means and how Waterloo's efforts to provide Fairtrade certified options on campus can support fair wages for farmers, community development, and environmental protection.
The panel will feature a special introduction by Vice President Academic & Provost Jim Rush, and will be moderated by the Sustainability Office.
Coffee and tea will be available for attendees, all Fairtrade certified of course!

Want to learn more about fair trade options on campus and around the community? Stop by the Arts Quad between 11:30am and 2:00pm to meet vendors and partners who help Waterloo source Fairtrade certified options, taste some of the coffee flavours available on campus, and participate in fair trade activities!
