Join the Ecology Lab, EV1 Room 134 for a celebration of Earth Day!  Take a break from studying for your exams and drop in any time on April 16th, 2015.  We will have a wide variety of Earth Day activities.

Central Stores will be offering a one month Departmental pickup event during regular business hours.  If you have old furniture or electronic waste, please contact Brian Forler (beforler@uwaterloo.ca) to arrange for a pickup and skip the normal paperwork!  

Community Cleanup

Looking for a mid-day break?  Join the University of Waterloo on April 21st to give our natural areas north of campus a little makeover.  We will take a walk along the Laurel Trail, pick up garbage from a "litter hot spot" around Old Albert Park, and have a light lunch when we get back.

A marathon of three movies will take place as a way to celebrate Earth Day and raise awareness on the issues relating to climate change. Whether there is a film you've been dying to see or just want a break from exams, join us in EV3 1408 for some fun!

The University of Waterloo invites you to a public lecture with three leading researchers on climate change.  As the local and global conversations on the topic continue to expand, these speakers will explore the basic science of climate change, its implications for society, and progress made to address one the largest challenges of our times.
