Waterloo students collaborate on sustainable solutions at SDG Impact Challenge

The United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Impact Challenge, organized by Impact Alliance, took place during SDG Week (March 10-11). Seven student teams designed and presented solutions to social enterprise Avani Bio Energy. The challenges included creating employment for people of the Uttarakhand villages (Avani’s headquarters), increasing biodiversity, and reducing carbon emissions.
