
Jerome is an Environment, Resources and Sustainability student and is working as the Sustainability Projects Assistant with the University of Waterloo Sustainability Office. In this role, Jerome supports a range of campus sustainability initiatives, including research and benchmarking, data collection and reporting, and the planning and implementation of projects related to climate, waste, water, food systems, and campus naturalization. He also supports Free Store operations, cross-departmental collaboration, and broader project and administrative needs across the Sustainability Office.
Through this position, Jerome contributes to advancing the University’s Environmental Sustainability Strategy while developing hands-on experience in project design, data analysis, and institutional sustainability.
Jerome brings experience in sustainability research, policy analysis, and student leadership from his work with REALPAC, the WUSA Bike Centre, and his role as President of the Environment, Resources and Sustainability Student Association (ERSSA).
Outside of work and academics, Jerome enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and engaging in campus and community initiatives. His interest in sustainability is driven by a systems-based perspective and a desire to translate environmental goals into practical, measurable action.
