Mia is a fourth-year Science and Business student specializing in biology, and she is working as the Communications and Outreach Assistant at the Sustainability Office this term. In her role, Mia helps coordinate student engagement opportunities such as the Green Residence program and the Sustainability Leadership Certificate. She also manages the Sustainability Office’s social media and organizes the monthly newsletter. Throughout the term, Mia will run booths and workshops to help promote sustainability on campus.
Mia loves to be outside — whether it be camping, cross-country skiing, or simply sitting in the sun. Her passion for sustainability stems from her love of the outdoors and desire to create a more sustainable world that future generations can enjoy.
Mia brings experience in communications from her roles as a Business Analyst at Altis Labs, Student Ambassador at Conrad Grebel, and positions at Engineering Outreach.
