Systems Design Engineering (SYDE) is pleased to award three engineering graduate students with the Dr. T.E. Unny Memorial Award:
- Armina Soleymani - Systems Design Engineering
- Mohammad Sina Jahangir - Civil and Environmental Engineering
- Mahkameh Taheri - Civil and Environmental Engineering
During his career as a researcher and professor of Systems Design Engineering (1965-1991), Dr. Unny contributed significantly to the development of stochastic and statistical methods in hydrology and environmental engineering. The award honours his legacy by providing financial support to graduate students working in this research area.
