Final-year students bring bold ideas to life at Capstone
From groundbreaking technology to real-world solutions, System Design Engineering and Biomedical Engineering’s 2025 Capstone Design symposium highlighted the ingenuity of final-year students. The annual event held on March 20 in Engineering 7 (E7) offered a glimpse into the future through student-led innovations.
More than 170 students from the two programs will present 44 meticulously designed projects. Throughout the design process, the students are supported by a collective effort from our dedicated staff, faculty and community partners.
"This year’s projects showcase the community's creativity, technical excellence, and dedication to systems innovations in service to humanity and the planet," said Dr. Lisa Aultman-Hall, Chair of Systems Design Engineering. "I am especially proud of our students for engaging with industry partners, community representatives, and domain experts throughout the design process.”
Project descriptions are available for Biomedical Engineering and Systems Design Engineering.
