PhotoMedicine
lab

received
$420,000
from
Mitacs
Accelerate
Program
in
collaboration
with
illumiSonics
Inc.
This
funding
will
go
toward
his
cutting-edge
translational
research
in
medical
imaging
for
critical
applications
in
oncology,
gastroenterology,
and
ophthalmology.
Professor
Haji
Reza
and
his
team
pioneered
several
techniques
in
biomedical
optics.
The
team
in
collaboration
with
several
clinical
experts
are
working
to
bring
these
innovations
from
their
lab
to
the
community
rapidly,
efficiently
and
for
the
benefit
of
Canada
and
Canadians.
