Dr. Alexander Wong, a professor of systems design engineering, joins educators from around the world as a fellow of the International Society for Design and Development in Education. This organization is a professional society of educators dedicated to improving the design and development of educational materials, particularly in mathematics, science and technology.
“The need for educational materials of high quality is now widely recognized,” the society says on its website. “If the classroom is to provide a stimulating and supportive learning environment for students, the nature of the learning activities is central.”
The fellowship recognizes Wong's distinguished contributions to the art and science of educational design and development.
