What’s happening with the WCMS?

Pausing WCMS 3 migrations between academic terms

The WCMS team will begin to implement WCMS 3 migration blackout periods in between terms to allow for adequate onboarding and offboarding of new WCMS co-op staff.

The first blackout period will take place between Monday, April 18 and Monday, May 9, 2022.  

While websites will not be migrated to WCMS 3 during the blackout period, you may still: 

WCMS 3 releases

See what development work has been included in recent WCMS 3 releases:

  • WCMS 3.1.4 release (highlights follow)
    • Added grid (thumbnail) option to image galleries
    • Made link autocomplete in the visual editor able to find media (images and files) on the site
    • Added support to webform for client side validation and a text counter
  • WCMS 3.1.5 release

WCMS 3 site launches – 118 sites live

Drop-in lab closure

Have a question, or need some help with your website? A virtual Drop-in lab will be open every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 1-4 p.m. to provide WCMS content maintainers one-on-one website and training support.
