Engaging in Entrepreneurship & Engineering (E3) funded by TD is a week-long camp for high school students entering grades 11-12 who are interested in learning the basics of entrepreneurship. Whether you think of yourself as an ideas-person, business-savvy, developer or designer - this camp is for you!
I feel as though starting a business is no longer just a dream; I see it as a very really possibility.

This will be an action-packed week of business model creation, designing, proto-typing and market validation. The week will culminate with a celebration of the ideas developed at the Communitech Hub. The E3 camp is only open to students entering grades 11 or 12 (currently in grade 10 or 11) and selection is application-based. This is a co-ed program. Students entering other grades are invited to sign-up for a notification when the program is expanded.

Successful applicants will be asked to pay a $150 (incl. HST) registration fee. Bursaries are available for those in financial need. Find out more about fees.
Please note: The registration fee is due only upon acceptance into the program. If accepted, applicants will receive an email which provides information about using our registration system and paying the registration fee. There is no application fee for this program.

Catalyst accepts MasterCard, VISA and American Express as well as Debit cards (non-Interac). Card numbers are kept with the utmost security. All charges are processed directly by the university and will appear on your credit card bill as either "U of W Cashiers Office" or "U of Waterloo ESQ (Engineering Science Quest)".
We do not accept cash or cheque payment.
Credit Card and debit payment must be made through our online registration system, we are not able to process payment on the phone or in person.
This program has a limited capacity. For this reason we require an application to be completed and submitted for acceptance.

As part of the application process, you will be asked to tell us about your definition of an entrepreneur, how you will contribute to the program, and how you define success. These questions may be answered in any format (video, audio, artwork, a poem, etc.).
