ESQube is a Mobile Makerspace Team, operated by Engineering Outreach at the University of Waterloo. We are strong believers that sparking an appreciation for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) at an early age is valuable, and ESQube wants to give ALL youth the opportunity to engage in these hands-on experiences.
ESQube is excited to offer FREE STEM Workshops to students in Kindergarten to Grade 12. Follow the links below to our In-School Workshop Brochures to see our offerings for the 2025-2026 school year.
Elementary Schools: Due to substantial growth and interest in our elementary-school offerings, we have expanded our school partnerships and geographic reach. Through close collaboration with our school board partners, we prioritize schools with higher needs, particularly those in remote areas with limited access to STEM opportunities and those serving lower socioeconomic communities.
When you’re ready to book, submit a request via the Calendly link and our ESQube Team will be happy to work with you to finalize your booking. Calendly links for elementary workshops are shared with board level partners to ensure prioritization of target schools.
ESQube workshops are delivered only to schools in Waterloo Region (Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo and Townships) & surrounding counties in Huron, Oxford and Perth. If you are unsure if your school qualifies, please email us with your school's name and address.
Junior (K-8 Grades)

Please note: these workshops are very popular and get booked very quickly. Please ensure you are only booking your class once per school year (Sept-June) to ensure all students have this learning opportunity.
